Holi is a very important festival of India. Holi is a festival of colours. Holi is a festival of enjoyment. In India, people of every religion celebrate Holi. Everyone enjoys this festival with enthusiasm and fun.

On the day of Holi, people forget their old grievances and hug each other. Children and youth play with wet colours. The old people play with Abeer, Gulal and dry colours. On the day of Holi, different types of sweets and Pakvans are made in every house. It is a festival of rich foodies. The main item of Holi is Gujhia which is made with Khoya and sugar.

According to the Hindu Panchang, Holi is celebrated on the full moon (i.e., Purnima) of Phalgun month. One day earlier, Holi is burnt. On this occasion also, people dance in Masti.

All over the world, Holi of Braj, Holi of Mathura, Holi of Vrindavan, and Holi of Kashi are very famous.

Indians outside off India celebrate Holi with the same grace and grandeur. I extend my Good wishes on the occasion of Holi to all members of our magazine family.
