The Wicked Wolf

Natchya Tiwari

Once upon a time, there was a wolf. The wolf was pregnant. She was about to give birth. She went to the pig and asked for a place to give birth of her children.

With a feeling of pity, for a while, the pig decided to give her place to the wolf.

After a day, the wolf gave birth to three cubs. Some more days passed.

One day, the pig went to the wolf. She asked the wolf to return her place.

The wolf said, "My children are very small. We have no place to live in. Please allow us to live here for some more days."

The pig was very gentle. She allowed the fox to live in her place for some more days.

Thus, a long time passed. One day, the pig went to the wolf and requested her to return her house.

By this time, the cubs of the wolf had grown up.

The wolf came out of the house with her cubs. She threatened and yelled at the pig.

She said, “It is our house.”

The pig said, “No, it is not yours. It is ours.”

The wolf said, “No, it is ours. If you dare, try it. We are five and you are alone. I will tear your meat into shreds for my children to eat."

The pig had no choice. She left her place for the wolf and ran away from there without saying anything.

Moral of the Story
