Let us learn how I made this card!

I have used a First Forays Coiling Set for this Happy GVS card. The coiling set has paper strips of different colours and sizes.

For making the card, we should first think of a design in our mind. I thought a design of flowers with stems. For this, I took a white square card paper. I folded it from the middle. It started looking now in rectangular form like a card. Now I took three pink strips from the pack, coiled them and just pinched their ends to look as shown in the figure on the bottom of the card. My first step was done!

Now for the flowers, I took six red strips, coiled them now as shown and pinched three sides to make six hearts. Now I glued them. The right side flower was ready. For the Left side flower I took five strips, loosely coiled them and again glued them. This time I did not pinch them. Similarly other flowers were made. By doing so, my flowers were ready.

For their stems and leaves I took green strips, trimmed them and pasted on the card paper as shown. For the butterfly on the top, I used white strips. You can use any colour, you like!

Now I adjusted all the flowers, stems and leaves as per my liking to give good look. In the end, I wrote with the marker pen Happy GVS. My good wishes card was thus ready!
