Rainwater Harvesting is very important. Now-a-days, it is done in almost every part of our country by the farmers.

Rainwater Harvesting’s useful nesses are as under:

(a)       It provides water at the time of drought.

(b)       It helps in increasing the ground water level.

(c)       It provides portal water without salinity i.e., saltiness as rainwater is the purest form of water.

(d)       It also helps farmers to grow crops.

(e)       This water can be used to water plants in our homes and crops in agricultural fields.

(f)        It can also be used for diverting heavy rainfall from reaching agricultural fields, thereby protecting crops from getting damaged.
