THE INNOCENT VICTIM
Ishaan Srivastava
I had Sun as my daddy.
In 1930 AD,
He chose me as his ninth son,
A feud so pity, of a dwarf planet and the Sun.
All the planets shook hands with me,
And welcomed me with glee.
I, the little one was filled with fun.
A feud so pity, of a dwarf planet and the Sun.
I realised as I turned 10,
That Sun was my step-father and he was so stern!
He neither gave me air, water, nor the ability of fire to burn.
A feud so pity, of a dwarf planet and the Sun.
On my 76th birthday,
Planet Earth sent me away.
Now you know who was the innocent one,
A feud so pity, of a dwarf planet and the Sun.
Who am I? you as me.
But I may not even be a planet to about me.
Now you know who was the truthful one.
A feud so pity, of a dwarf planet and the Sun.
