I went to my friend’s,

To invite him for a jungle picnic.

He said “of course of course”,

And we both came to my house.

 

We packed our goods,

Like water and food.

We took four tents,

And we went to invite others.

 

Before that I asked my siblings,

Lama and Dodo to join us,

And they said yes.

So, the four of us went along.

We asked Advik, Sachit, Rishit, Adharv and Aditi to come along,

And they all said “we’re coming along.”

We all came to my house.

 

“I think let’s go to jungle where there are mountains,” said Aditi.

“That’s a great idea!” I spoke.

“But then we’ll have to go to the Himalayan region!”

 

“Yahoo! Shouted everyone.

And we all packed our suitcases.

We left New Delhi,

And we reached the mountains.

 

“Oh no! we have reached Mount Everest!

Now we’ll have to climb it to reach the other side”.

“Its ok Aditi, as long as we are a team, this Everest can’t stop us.”

“Oh yeah!”

 

I and Advik led the group,

But we had to ensure that we had all the things needed.

“Torches yes, cylinders yes, shoes yes.

Voilla! We are ready to go!”

 

We climbed for one day,

And we all would take out all the tents,

And we all would sleep.

But in the night, there was a storm.

 

All the camps blew away,

Except one big camp of mine and Advik

They all came in my tent,

And told us everything.

 

We all folded the tent together,

And started to climb.

In the middle of the night,

And we climbed and climbed.

 

The sun rose in the east,

At 5 A.M.

We reached the summit.

We climbed down the mountain.

 

We reached the Jahapana forest.

But Rishit wanted a break.

So we all decided to camp.

And we all enjoyed it a lot.

 

We put up the big camp,

And sat inside it.

With snacks,

And Lama and Dodo enjoyed it a lot.

 

The next morning we all wanted fish,

So Sachit went to the river,

Caught some fish,

He came back.

But there was a small problem.

 

Adharv said,

“We don’t have any cooker.”

“Oh no! what will we do now?”

“But wait, I have an idea!”

 

“We can make a fire,

And put our fish on it.

Isn’t it great?”

“O yeah!”

 

We made a fire,

Came in the tent.

Ate our fish,

listened to music.

 

And it was time to go to sleep,

We all put on our blankets.

Went into our tent,

And slept cosily.

 

Next morning, it was time to go.

We packed our suitcases,

And we were ready to go home,

But there was a small problem.

 

Dodo said, “we don’t have any transport”.

“It’s ok. We’ll make a transport ourself”.

So we went and gathered a lot of items,

And created a mega bike.

 

We put our luggage in the luggage basket,

Sat In the bike.

Adharv pushed the liver,

And we flew.

 

We all shouted “home”!

And we reached my home.

“Wasn’t that a great trip”?

“Oh yes”!
