Our Universe

Anupra Dubey

Our Universe is very large and dangerous. We cannot imagine the size and shape of our Universe. It is very difficult to define the Universe. I am trying to tell how everything began.

Long-long ago, about 14 billion years back, that’s 14 followed by 9 zeroes, there happened an event in the space. At that time, the universe was like a small ball. It was smaller than the smallest thing we can imagine. It was even smaller than the size of a grain of salt. It was smaller than bacteria. It was smaller than even an atom.

One day, this tiny ball exploded. It was not just a simple explosion. It was huge with the strength of millions of nuclear bombs of today.

This massive explosion is named as the Big Bang. All the matter in the universe, every single star, planet, rock, meteorite, every grain of sand on Earth and even everything that makes up our body was thrown out in this explosion….….and that’s how our universe was born.
