To achieve the above goal, let us begin to understand the small process in our mind. As a matter of fact everyone uses this process to some degree. It goes like this. If, February 1st 2021 is Monday, 7 days each after 1st that is 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th February will also be Mondays because the same day repeats after every 7 days. Conversely, If we divide 29 by 7 we get 1 as remainder. Remainder 1 means 1st day of week that is Monday. We all know from Railway timetable that 1 signifies a Monday, 2 a Tuesday and likewise 5 as Friday and 6 as Saturday. Zero, 0 number or 7 would mean a Sunday. In the case of a Sunday we will get remainder as zero. So after dividing the number by 7, remainder tells as the day.
For the month of February we simply divided the date by 7 to find out the day of the week but for other months we need a code number to be added to the date before we divide by 7. So, the complete process is to come out with a code number for each month of the year2021. The code numbers for the year 2021 are 400 351 362 402. These 12 numbers beginning with 400 for first quarter( January, February and March respectively )means 4 is the code for January , zero for February, again zero for March. Likewise for next qurter April , May and June the codes are 351.
For success, here is the easy process to be done in mind. Add the code number of concerned month to the date. We now need to divide by 7 to the number obtained after addition of the code. The remainder gives the day. For example, the code for January 2021 is 4. If we are finding the day for 22nd January, we add this 4 to 22.This makes 22+4=26. Now dividing 26 by 7 will yield a remainder 5. You know that 5th day of the week or 5th working day of the week is Friday. So 22nd January is going to be a Friday.
Another example: what day is going to be on 15th August 2021? The code for August is 6. Add 6 to the date. 15+6=21. Dividing 21 by 7 will yield zero as remainder. So it will be a Sunday.
It therefore becomes necessary to remember the 12 codes of the year 2021. 400 351 362 402. To remember these 4 group codes for each quarter the tips are:
1) Code for first quarter is 400 and last quarter 402. So last quarter’s code is larger by 2.
2) Code for second quarter is 351 and third quarter is 362. So third quarter is larger than second quarter by 11.
In short, the 12 codes for each month of the year 2021 are :

Formula is to add the code of respective month to the date in question, divide by 7 & look for remainder.
